POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – State records show a rodent issue was spotted by a state inspector in a Burger King in Pompano Beach.
Roach issues were also spotted by an inspector in a Plantation Domino's Pizza.

Meanwhile, Krisha Indian Restaurant was ordered shut by the state as well after more than 350 rodent droppings were found. Records also indicate rodent droppings were found in spices.
Below is a list of the places ordered shut and some of their violations. All the places listed were allowed to re-open following ordered clean ups and re-inspections.

Burger King released the following statement after the restaurant was ordered shut. "Food safety and restaurant cleanliness are top priority at all BURGER KING® restaurants. We have spoken with the franchisee that owns and operates the restaurant on Sample Road Road in Pompano Beach and he has assured us that this is an isolated incident stemming from disruption caused at a nearby construction site."
"In an abundance of caution, when construction began, the franchisee called in outside services in an attempt to avoid any incidents. Despite taking these precautionary measures, the environment in close proximity to the restaurant was disturbed. The franchisee took immediate action to have the restaurant cleaned, sanitized, exterminated and serviced to insure no further ingress from the adjacent construction site. The restaurant was closed for several hours during this time, was reinspected and reopened."
