Disney's All-Star Movies Resort evacuated due to bomb scare

All-clear given after investigation

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – The All-Star Movies Resort at Walt Disney World was briefly evacuated Tuesday because of a bomb scare.

The Osceola County Sheriff's Office and Disney security scoured the area with dogs but found nothing suspicious, officials said.

Guests took to social media to discuss the incident.

"Disney allstar Movie resort on lockdown.  Lot of police, no idea why," a guest who goes by the username ThaMaestro tweeted.

The Sheriff's Office said the incident was confined to the lobby of the resort.

The all-clear was given about an hour later.

Disney did not comment about the evacuation.
