SWAT standoff ends with no trace of attempted murder suspect

Police say Dorelle Stanley considered armed, dangerous

A SWAT standoff is taking place in Miami, where a suspect has barricaded himself inside a home.

MIAMI – Police said a man thought to have been barricaded inside a Miami home is wanted on two counts of attempted murder.

The SWAT team arrived at the home Friday morning after police received information that Dorelle Stanley, 27, was inside.

Miami police said Stanley was wanted for shooting at his girlfriend in the street earlier this month.

Officers removed her from the home safely and evacuated neighboring homes.

Shortly after 1 p.m., officers entered the home but found no one inside.

Police said Stanley is considered armed and dangerous.
