Boy asks Santa to pray for sick child

Family of sick Las Vegas boy had sent out request for prayers

COLUMBIA, S.C. – When little Prestyn Barnett got his chance to ask Santa for something for Christmas, he didn't ask for much, but what he did ask for shows what kind of heart he has.

While visiting a mall in Columbia, S.C. on Sunday, Prestyn, 4, told Santa that all he wanted was a toy train and a miracle for a 2-month-old boy who had stopped breathing over half-a-country away.

So Santa and Prestyn both took to one knee and prayed for the little boy.

WIS-TV says that Prestyn learned about Baby Knox when his Las Vegas family asked their Facebook followers to pray for the boy after he was found unresponsive in his crib.  Knox's father performed CPR until he was able to be taken to a local hospital.

Knox remains in the hospital and won't be able to return home for an undetermined amount of time. His family has taken leave from work and have set up a GoFundMe account to financially help Knox in his recovery.
