According to a police report, David Figueroa suspected Walker of stealing a package that had been delivered to their workplace, Beautiful Things Lighting.

Walker denied taking or even seeing the missing package, and after exchanging text messages about it, Figueroa decided to confront Walker at a bus stop.

Police said Walker pulled out a pocket knife, leading to an altercation during which Walker cut Figueroa.

During the fight, Walker also tried to stab a woman named Brittany Walker, but he was only able to cut her shirt.

Police said Brittany Walker struck Carlos Walker in the face with an umbrella, cutting him above his eye.
