A Miami police officer wiped out on his motorcycle on the Dolphin Expressway Wednesday afternoon, a Miami police representative said.
Sky 10 was above the Dolphin Expressway westbound at 27th Avenue just after 4 p.m. as paramedics and multiple police offers remained at the scene.

About 10 police motorcycles were parked on the side of the highway as well as numerous police cars.
Police said the officer wiped out on the gravel and then slid under a vehicle, which dragged him for a little bit.
The officer was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital to be checked out, but authorities said he did not suffer serious injuries.
