Gun-wielding man robs Coral Gables 7-Eleven

Man robs store of money, cigarettes

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Police are looking to identify a man who robbed a Coral Gables 7-Eleven early Tuesday morning at gunpoint.

Police said the man walked into the store at 350 Bird Rd. at about 4:33 a.m., pulled out a silver semi-automatic pistol and demanded money from the cash register and a carton of cigarettes.

Police described the gunman as a black man, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall and weighing 175 pounds.

He was wearing a black ski mask, black sweater, black pants, black gloves, and he was carrying a light green camp chair bag, which he put the cigarettes in.

Police are also interested in finding a man who entered the store just minutes after the robbery without purchasing anything.
