FLORIDA CITY, Fla. – Police had several homicide suspects in custody in Florida City Tuesday afternoon.
Florida City police officer Ken Armenteros said detectives were conducting an investigation.

Miami-Dade Police surrounded the three-bedroom home at 1224 NW 8 Court and an area near West Homestead Elementary School.
There were three men in handcuffs sitting on the ground.
The action comes as Miami-Dade police continues to investigate the Sunday afternoon homicide of 7-year-old Amiere Castro and the Monday night shooting of 13-year-old Eric Watson Jr. Both shootings were in South Miami-Dade.
