MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – A man has been arrested in connection with the burglary of a home in Miami Gardens.
Gregory Cooper, 27, was arrested Monday on a burglary charge.

According to police, Cooper and three others broke into a home off Northwest 176th Street and Sunshine State Parkway and stole a family's Christmas presents as well as other valuables.
The Kiwanis Club of Miami Gardens and officers with the Miami Gardens Police Department stepped in to provide the Acosta family with new gifts and monetary donations.
The family was very grateful and thankful, for the kind gesture shown to them, in their time of need," Miami Gardens police spokeswoman Doretha Hall said.
Hall said detectives are still working to identify the other three people involved in the burglary.
