Man wearing Miami Heat hat robs banks in Pembroke Pines, Miami

The FBI says this man robbed banks in Pembroke Pines and Miami within hours of each other.

WESTON, Fla. – The FBI is trying to identify a man who robbed two South Florida banks hours apart last month.

FBI spokesman Jim Marshall said the robberies occurred Dec. 5 at banks in Pembroke Pines and Miami. The first robbery occurred shortly before noon at a Bank of America branch on Pines Boulevard, while the other occurred less than two hours later at a TD Bank branch on Southwest 40th Street.

In both robberies, the man entered the bank and demanded money from an employee. There were customers in the banks, but no injuries were reported.

The robber got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

Surveillance photographs show that the man was wearing a gray Miami Heat hat.
