North Miami Beach bank robber sought by FBI

Robber enters bank, demands money from employee

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – The FBI is asking for the public's help in finding the person who robbed a North Miami Beach bank Wednesday afternoon.

The robbery happened at 2:53 p.m. Wednesday at a Chase Bank branch in the 1700 Northeast Miami Gardens Drive.

FBI Special Agent Michael Leverock said a robber entered the bank and demanded money from a bank employee. No injuries were reported.

The amount of money taken, if any, was not given by the FBI.

Anyone who may know the robber's identity is asked to call the FBI at 754-703-2000.
