MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – The Miami-Dade Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a man who was caught on dashcam video stealing from a parked car.
Investigators said the man broke into the car at 9:18 p.m. Thursday and stole a firearm and a cellphone. The car was parked in the area of Northeast 171 Street and Northest 7 Avenue.

In the dashcam video, you can see the man looking through the car and stealing the items.
The suspect is described as a 16- to 21-year-old black man. He is about 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs 170 pounds and has medium-length black hair and a thin build. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt at the time of the incident.
Police are asking for the public's help in identifying or finding the man seen in the video and pictures. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
