NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – North Miami Beach police are looking for a man who carjacked a grandmother outside a spa.
Police said Edith Doktorczyk, 82, walked out of All Asian Massage, 1252 NE 163rd St., just before 12:30 p.m. Jan. 6 and was followed by a man who was wearing a hoodie.
The man grabbed her arm and demanded her keys. According to detectives, he drove off in her 2014 Honda Accord and the business owner called 911.
Two hours later, surveillance video captured the carjacker and two other men buying items at a Family Dollar, 7200 NW Second Ave., in Miami.
The car was later found abandoned in Miami.
Police said the man got away with credit cards, an iPhone and an undisclosed amount of cash.
