MIAMI-DADE, Fla. ā Police made an arrest Thursday after seizing two pounds of marijuana, a firearm and ammunition at a home where a 7-year-old was shot and killed two days after Christmas.
According to the Miami-Dade Police Department, since the fatal shooting at 15120 Jackson Street, investigators received several tips in reference to narcotics activity occurring at the home. After further investigation confirmed the drug activity, a search warrant was obtained.

During the search warrant execution Thursday morning, officers found the marijuana, gun and ammunition. Micheel Tobler, 40 was then arrested.
Police said Tobler is the uncle of Amiere Castro, the boy who was killed in the drive-by shooting on Dec. 27.
Micheel Tobler's son, Michael Tobler, 19, was arrested on Dec. 30 in the shooting of Castro.
According to an arrest affidavit, Michael Tobler and another suspect in the shooting, Dravein Duke, 19, got into an argument the day of the shooting over a possible stolen gun during a drug deal at the home.
Micheel Tober is charged with convicted felon in possession of firearm and possession of cannabis (+/- 110 grams of marijuana) with intent to sell.
