MIAMI – Although Dr. Anjali Ramkissoon has apologized on national television for her violent rage against an Uber driver, her employer said its investigation into her actions is still ongoing.
Ramkissoon was suspended by Jackson Heath System on Jan. 25, hours after video showing her in an often physical confrontation with a Miami Uber driver went viral on the Internet.

In the statement released Friday, Jackson said the company is continuing the investigation and hopes to come to an efficient conclusion, but did not offer a date for a possible conclusion.
Jackson also noted that Ramkissoon had retained legal counsel to represent her during the investigation.
Ramkissoon appeared Wednesday on ABC's "Good Morning America" to apologize for her actions, expressing sorrow that people would know her solely from the video.
Jackson said it would not comment on the investigation until it is complete.
