Fire breaks out after tree downed in northeast Miami-Dade

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A small fire was reported Tuesday in a northeast Miami-Dade neighborhood after several trees were downed in the area due to the morning's severe weather.

Sky 10 was above the 19300 block of Northeast Second Avenue at 10:45 a.m. as firefighters worked to put out the flames near a tree that had fallen over. It appeared that some kind of shed-like structure was burned in the fire.

Several trees were spotted in the streets throughout the area and there was some flooding.

It's unclear what caused the fire or whether any injuries were reported.
