MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – A 21-year-old woman accused of striking two federal agents with her car in Miami Beach last month is facing additional charges after one of the men died from his injuries.

Jordana Rosales was arrested Jan. 15 and charged with leaving the scene of a crash causing bodily harm.

Rosales was charged with DUI manslaughter, DUI causing serious injury, reckless vehicular homicide and reckless driving causing serious injury during an arraignment on Tuesday.

According to Miami Beach Police Officer Ernesto Rodriguez, two U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents were flagging down a taxicab around 3 a.m. Jan. 15 when Rosales, who was driving a dark gray Mercedes E350, went over the median and hit them.

Both victims were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center. One of the agents was pronounced dead a couple of weeks later.

The other agent was listed in stable condition after the hit-and-run.

The agents' identities have not been released.

According to detectives, Rosales fled the scene and was found later in the day at a luxury high-rise building.
