When one of the three women inside asked him to leave, Zappo began to scream, "I'm going to kill you," and other threats, deputies said.

Zappo used a chair to break the glass door and began to swing it at the victims. One of the women was able to defend herself against Zappo with a knife by stabbing him in the leg, the arrest report said.

The women were then able to push Zappo out of the front door, lock him out and keep him away by threatening him with a gun, the report said.

When deputies arrived at the scene, Zappo, who was injured, failed to cooperate with them, the report said.

Zappo was taken to Broward Health North for a medical evaluation before being taken to jail.

He faces charges of army burglary, three counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, battery on a law enforcement officer and a felony criminal mischief due to a prior charge in Pennsylvania.
