MIAMI – A boat crashed into the Rickenbacker Causeway Friday after losing its anchor, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue spokeswoman Erika Benitez said.
The vessel's owner told the fireboat crew that he was below deck and did not realize that the boat had broken free of its anchor.

According to Benitez, the boat drifted and crashed under the Rickenbacker Causeway.
The boat was pulled from the area by a towboat while the MDFR fireboat remained at the scene to make sure all the passengers were safe.
No injuries were reported.
It's unclear how much damage the boat sustained in the crash.
