According to an arrest report, the victim saw Roy Milton Barnes, 33, breaking the window of his van Wednesday from a third-floor apartment window in the 4200 block of Northwest 34th Street.

Broward sheriff's deputies said the victim confronted Barnes and held him in the parking lot until authorities arrived.
