MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A 19-year-old man is facing multiple charges after he fatally shot a duck and shot at iguanas Sunday in Miami-Dade County, authorities said.
According to an arrest report, police responded to the area of Granada Boulevard and Bird Road after receiving reports about three men with a gun who had shot a duck near a waterway.

Police said they found Isaac Rodriguez and his two friends at the Ruth Bryan Owen Waterway Park.
According to the report, Rodriguez admitted to shooting the duck and said he and his friends were also shooting iguanas in the area.
Police said Rodriguez told them that he shot the duck while it was swimming and it flew across the waterway onto a field.
Officers searched the area and found the dead duck.
Police said the officers searched the suspects' car and found a pellet gun in the back seat and about 34.6 grams of suspected marijuana in the center console.
All three men were arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Rodriguez also faces an animal cruelty charge.
