Person covered head to toe robs bank in Coral Springs

Robber seen leaving bank with plastic bag full of cash


CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – A person whose body was covered from head to toe robbed a bank Friday morning in Coral Springs, the FBI said.

The robbery was reported just before 10 a.m. at a Citibank branch at 2789 N. University Drive.

According to the FBI, the robber pulled out a small handgun and demanded money from a teller.

An undisclosed amount of cash was taken. Surveillance video shows the robber leaving the bank with a plastic bag full of money.

The robber was wearing black pants, shoes, gloves, a shirt and a gray hoodie. He also had his entire face covered by a black cloth. 

No injuries were reported.
