Broward County Judge Martin Bidwill last week denied a request by Sealy's attorney to set a bond for her client.

Police said Sealy and two other suspects robbed Ferguson at a Residence Inn in Plantation. Police said Ferguson was struck in the head with the butt of a pistol during the robbery and then tied up with bed sheets while they stole cash, jewelry and electronics from the hotel room.

Sealy, Jerry Exume and Ronald Hubbard face charges of armed robbery, armed kidnapping and armed burglary.

Online jail records show that Exume also remains in custody without bond.

Ferguson served 28 years with the Hollywood Police Department.
