MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Firefighters broke through iron bars to rescue a resident trapped inside a house during a fire Sunday morning, Miami-Dade County Fire Rescue spokeswoman Erika Benitez said.
There were flames coming out of the windows of the home in the 2100 block of Southwest 66th Avenue when crews arrived about 12:40 a.m., Benitez said.

The person rescued from the home and two others were taken to an area hospital for smoke inhalation.
Officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
