Stolen car crashes into home in North Miami Beach

4 men arrested

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – A stolen car crashed into an iron fence and a home Thursday in North Miami Beach, authorities said.

The incident happened following a police pursuit in the area of Northeast 17th Avenue and 159th Street.

"Man, I was in my house and heard a big boom. I thought it was an explosive," one person who lives in the area said.

An 89-year-old woman who lives inside the home that was damaged was standing in the kitchen when the car came crashing in, but  she wasn't injured.

"I saw my life. I don't know what was going to happen. I thought he was going to run into me or something," another person said.

Sky 10 was above the scene just before 10 a.m. as one man was walking to a police cruiser in handcuffs.

Authorities said four men were arrested.

It's unclear from where the car was stolen.
