Hialeah police investigate after man shot, killed behind Rainbow Motel

Police search for shooter in incident on West Okeechobee Road

HIALEAH, Fla. – A 33-year-old man is dead after a shooting Saturday evening in Hialeah, police said.

It happened at 7:15 p.m. behind the Rainbow Motel in the 2800 block of West Okeechobee Road.

The man was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Hialeah police are now searching for the shooter.

No motive for the shooting was given.
