2 adults, several children injured in Lauderhill school bus crash

LAUDERHILL, Fla. – Several injuries were reported Tuesday after a couple of cars collided with a school bus in Lauderhill, police said.

The crash was reported about 3:45 p.m. Tuesday at Inverrary Boulevard and Inverrary Drive.

Lauderhill police said the driver of a silver Honda lost control and slammed into the back of the school bus that was stopped at a red light. Police said a red Hyundai was also struck by the Honda.

The bus was carrying five children from Park Trail Elementary School.

Police said the children, school bus driver and driver of the Hyundai were treated at the scene for minor injuries. The driver of the Honda was taken to Broward Health Medical Center in critical but stable condition.
