Coral Springs High School on modified lockdown due to threat made on social media


CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Coral Springs High School is on lockdown Friday morning because of a threat that was made overnight on social media, Broward County Public Schools officials said.

According to school officials, there is an increased police presence at the campus as a precaution and limited movement is being allowed throughout the school.

Authorities did not immediately describe the threat that was made or say if they know who is behind the threat.
