PLANTATION, Fla. – Surveillance video captured an attempted burglary that was reported last Friday at a Family Dollar store in Plantation.
The incident was reported just after 2 a.m. at Family Dollar at 21 N. State Road 7.
Surveillance video shows the burglars putting their vehicle in reverse and ramming it into the store.
Police said the thieves, whose faces were covered, tried to steal a safe, but it did not fit into their car.
No other items were reported missing from the store.
"I'm scared. I've been here for two years and this is the third time it's happened here," assistant store manager Gueoline Miguel said.
