Armed burglars shot a man on Saturday afternoon at his home in Miami near Liberty Square.
Police responded to the home at 1410 NW 58 Terrace near Orchard Villa Elementary School.
Witnesses said there was a boy in the home when the shooting happened.
Miami Fire Rescue took the man to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center.
