MIAMI – If you were looking to score some patio furniture at a low, low price over the weekend, the streets of downtown Miami were the place to be.
The strong thunderstorms that passed through South Florida created a bizarre and dangerous situation on Saturday when residents witnessed furniture being blown off balconies by the heavy wind.

A group of onlookers captured the scene on video and posted it to YouTube.
Several pieces of furniture fell hundreds of feet on to Biscayne Boulevard, barely missing vehicles on the busy roadway.
On the video, the group watching could be heard laughing at the truly odd occurrence happening just feet from their own balcony.
Luckily, there were no reports of injuries.
