MIAMI – A former actor for Spanish-language variety show "Sabado Gigante" was sentenced Wednesday by a Miami-Dade County judge to 153 years in prison for possessing child pornography.
Adonis Losada, 52, who is most famous for cross-dressing as an older woman on the hit show, which was canceled last year, is already serving 10 years in prison for similar charges in Palm Beach County.
During Losada's trial, jurors heard audio recordings and phone calls between an undercover detective and Losada.
The detective testified that he posed as the stepfather of a girl in a child pornography chat room and told Losada that he had traveled to Costa Rica before to have sex with young boys and girls.
The jury also saw secret recordings of Losada viewing images of child pornography.
According to the Miami Herald, the porn involved babies and toddlers.
Losada was convicted in April on 52 counts of possessing child pornography.
