Fla. driver lucky to be alive after rollover crash caught on video

Surveillence camera captures horrific crash in Deland

DELAND, Fla. – A Florida driver is lucky to be alive after his car careened off the road this weekend, rolling over multiple times before coming to a rest upside down.

The accident in Deland occurred Saturday night and was captured by a nearby security camera.

The driver was rescued by nearby witnesses who rushed to the man's aid.

WESH-TV reports that the incident began when the vehicle hit a mailbox on the side of Woodland Boulevard. The car then hit a group of ATV's parked outside a scooter store.

"It probably did four or five 360s in the air," Keeling King told WESH.

Bystanders were able to pull the driver out of the vehicle by pulling him through the car's sunroof.

The driver was airlifted to the hospital. No one else was injured in the accident.
