HALLANDALE BEACH – An investigation is underway after shots were fired early Monday morning in Hallandale Beach.
It happened at the Steak 'n Shake restaurant near Southeast 10th Street and South Federal Highway.

Hallandale Beach police said a dispute between two groups of people led to the gunshots.
A witness staying at a hotel nearby said the bullets hit his car.
Police said three vehicles were struck by bullets.
No one was hurt.
