Dogs named Charlie may cost you more money

A study by Co-op Insurance found the five unluckiest names for cats and dogs.  The study, reported by Mirror in the U.K., says a dog named Charlie and a cat named Oscar cost owners hundreds in veterinarian fees.

"Any pet can come with its fair share of misfortune, landing you with an unexpected trip to the vets or causing mischief around the house," David Hampson, head of pet insurance at the Co-op, said.  "However, based on our claims data, Charlie and Oscar certainly aren't the luckiest names you can give your pet."

The report states dogs named Charlie can have issues like, tummy trouble, skin complaints and ailments from tremors to seizures.  It also says cats with the name Oscar use up their nine lives being injured in road accidents.
