MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Miami-Dade police are searching for three men who robbed a beauty supply store last month in northwest Miami-Dade.
The robbery was reported about 6 p.m. July 14 at Dream Girls and Guys Beauty Supply Store at 8315 NW 22nd Ave.
Miami-Dade police spokeswoman Jennifer Capote said the robbers, who were wearing dark hoodies, knocked on the door and pushed their way inside after an employee opened the door.
Capote said one man pointed a gun at the woman's face and snatched her cellphone from her hand.
Another robber told the employee to open the cash register, but she said she didn't know how, police said.
While continuing to hold the woman at gunpoint, the trio made their way to a back room, where they were met by another employee, Capote said.
Authorities said the men grabbed the woman's purse and removed an unknown amount of cash.
The men ran away in an unknown direction.
