Armed robbers target Miami Shores bank -- again

FBI asks public for information on pair of bank robbers

MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – Two armed robbers hit a Miami Shores bank for the second time, federal agents said on Sunday. 

Their target was the TD Bank branch, 9005 Biscayne Blvd., in Miami Shores.

Customers were in the bank at the time of the Sunday robbery, according to FBI Special Agent Michael D. Leverock. 

Their first robbery was Aug. 13 and their second was about 2:50 p.m., on Sunday.

One of the robbers stepped over the counter, while wearing plastic gloves, white sneakers, blue jeans and a sweat shirt. The other robber, who appeared to be younger, stood by the door. 

Leverock was asking anyone with information to call 754-703-2000.
