Davie police search for man with dementia

Charles Scott does not have his medication, police say

DAVIE, Fla. – Police are asking for the public's help in finding a man with dementia.

Davie police said Charles Scott made a phone call from a Mobil gas station at Ravenswood and Griffin roads in Dania Beach at 5:51 p.m. Saturday.

Scott suffers from dementia and does not have his medication, police said.

Scott is 6 feet tall and weighs 165 pounds. Police said he was last seen wearing red shorts and a white T-shirt with a baseball cap.

Scott was driving in a white Volkswagen Tiguan (similar to pictured vehicle above) with Florida tag K953FA, police said.
