LAUDERHILL, Fla. – There are multiple surveillance cameras mounted outside of a Lauderhill home where three people were found dead earlier this week.
The victims were identified by police as Dwight Brown, 42, his son, Denzel Brown, 21, and his girlfriend, Lisa Foreman, 50.
Police won't divulge details about their deaths, but family members are certain that the deaths are the result of a triple homicide and that a killer is still on the run.
Loved ones said a relative discovered the bodies Monday afternoon and called 911.
Detectives spent nearly two days combing the crime scene for clues, but whether they found anything significant, including images from the cameras, is still a mystery.
By all accounts, Dwight Brown was a friendly, model neighbor, often inviting family, friends and neighbors to cookouts at his home on Northwest Third Street.
A gathering had been planned for Labor Day to celebrate the birthday of Denzel Brown's late mother.
Denzel Brown was also a beloved face in the neighborhood, and was always the first to speak and wave to people in the area.
"Every time they see me, they call me mommy," neighbor Elaine Lamothe said. "They are nice people. This is unfortunate."
Foreman was described by loved ones as a kind, gentle soul, who was always smiling.
She worked for more than 30 years at the Broward Clerk of Courts office.
Police have not said how the people were killed or whether it was domestic-related.
It's unclear whether they are searching for a suspect.
