FBI search for 2 who intended to rob Hallandale Beach bank

Pair believed to be linked to 2 other bank robberies

HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. – The FBI has released photos of two men who they said entered a Hallandale Beach bank Tuesday with intentions of robbing it, only to have second thoughts when they spotted a security guard. 

The would-be robbers entered the TD Bank branch in the 1600 block of East Hallandale Beach Boulevard at  about 4:30 p.m., but left after seeing the security guard, the FBI said.

There were no shots fired, and no one was injured in the incident. 

Investigators believe the pair are the same robbers involved in the robbery of a Miami Shores TD Bank branch on Aug. 13 and Sept. 4. 

The culprits, who are considered to be armed and dangerous, were seen leaving in a black Ford Ranger XLT.
