3 Miramar fast food location burglarized, police say

Windows found smashed, registers broken at all 3 locations

MIRAMAR, Fla. – Miramar police are searching for a man they believe has been burglarizing fast food chains throughout the city.

At about 1:49 a.m. Tuesday police were called out to a KFC/Taco Bell in the 3600 block of Utopia Drive where a window appeared to be smashed by a hammer and a cash register was pried open, police said.

About an hour later police received a call about a Little Ceasars in the 3300 block of University Drive. The front door was smashed at the location and a register was damaged.

Shortly after a Subway in Miramar was also burglarized, police said. A cash register was found broken on the floor at the location.

Police believe the same person burglarized all three locations and may be responsible for a fourth incident as well.

The amount of cash taken has not been disclosed.
