BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. – Police are searching for the owner of a boat that washed ashore on Boynton Beach Tuesday morning.

Police said the 1990 21-foot Bayliner Trophy washed up on the north end of Oceanfront Park about 6:45 a.m.

A good Samaritan called police, who found extra fuel drums, water and snacks on board.

Police said the boat might have been used to smuggle immigrants into the country.
