MIAMI – Two masked thieves broke into an electronics store overnight in Miami.
A photo taken from the scene at 217 SE First St. shows the front window smashed and blinds thrown to the ground.
More than $20,000 worth of electronics were stolen from the store, including computers, phones, watches and laptop accessories.
"It's like a hard hit because we've been in business for around 10 years, but it's a lot of money. You know, it is a lot," store owner Estefania Calibar said. "We can't just, you know, go to the bank, get another $20,000 and put every merchandise that they took back on the shelves. We can't."
The burglars wore hooded sweatshirts and covered their faces during the heist.
"We're sad," Calibar said. "It's work that we have to put into it, and now I wish I was with my baby at home, and I can't. I have to be here."
Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
