NORTH MIAMI, Fla. – Two toddlers nearly drowned Tuesday after they were found in a swimming pool at a North Miami home, police said.
The 1- and 2-year-old children were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center.
Relatives who discovered the toddlers called 911 and immediately began performing CPR on them.
Paramedics continued CPR when they arrived at the home near Northeast 12th Avenue and Northeast 129th Street.
It's unclear how long the children had been in the pool before they were found, police said.
