Man steals candy, cameras from West Broward High School, police say

Burglary reported Sept. 23 at Pembroke Pines school

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – Pembroke Pines police are searching for a man who they said was captured on surveillance cameras burglarizing West Broward High School.

The burglary was reported about 1:45 a.m. Sept. 23 at the high school at 500 NW 209th Ave.

Police said the man, who is believed to be between 18 and 25, forcibly opened a door on the first floor and entered several classrooms.

Police said he stole numerous items, including three cameras and candy.
