19-year-old killed, another teen injured in Hallandale Beach shooting

Shooter flees scene, police say

HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. – Hallandale Beach police are searching for the person responsible for shooting two teenagers Sunday night, one of whom died.

The shooting was reported about 8 p.m. in the 700 block of Foster Road.

Police said the victims were shot in the 700 block of Northwest Seventh Avenue, then ran to Foster Road, where they collapsed.

Both victims were taken by Hallandale Beach Fire Rescue to Memorial Regional Hospital.

Wajiyb Williams, 19, was pronounced dead at the hospital. A 17-year-old boy, whose identity has not been released, is in stable condition.

No arrests have been made.
