MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – From murals to messages, reminders of Jada Page are almost everywhere in her old neighborhood.
"If I could hug her again, touch her again," Dominique Brown, Page's mother, said, "what I would give."
Brown said time hasn't made things easier.
She visits her daughter's grave, still in disbelief, and said the only comfort she has is word that detectives are closing in on the gunman who shot Jada in late August.
Jada's family and friends will gather soon to ask for the public to step up and help find the person responsible for the shooting.
Brown said detectives are close to an arrest but need a little more evidence.
Jada's relatives have been rallying every single week since she was shot during a drive-by just outside her grandmother’s home in Northwest Miami-Dade.
"We're still pushing," Brown said. "We need to find out who did this to her."
