MIAMI – The MetroPCS store off Northwest Seventh Street and Northwest 18th Avenue was recently robbed.
In fact, it's one of at least four MetroPCS stores that have been robbed recently.
Juan Carlos Carrera, who works with the phone company, said he's had enough.
"This needs to be addressed because they're putting kids lives in danger and our lives in danger," he said.
Carrera believes the same people hit two separate stores -- one in Opa-Locka on Oct. 14 and another in Miami, which happened over the weekend.
"I strongly believe it's the same two guys," Carrera said. "They have very specific characteristics. They wear goatees. One of them is a big guy. The other one is a skinny guy. He kind of has a limp. The other guy wears a hat with an 'F' on it."
Each time, the thieves use the same tactics to conduct their robbery. They pose as regular customers to scope the place out before robbing other customers.
"The last robbery, they did get physical with one of our employees. They tried to yank her necklace, and it didn't come off," Carrera said. "Once he saw it didn't come off, he got frustrated and said if she didn't take it off he would beat the (expletive) out of her."
Carrera said they are offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of the armed robbers.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
