Anthony Haynie entered the 29-year-old victim’s home through an unlocked side door, Sgt. Adam Feiner said.

Once inside, Haynie was confronted by the resident, Feiner said.

Haynie then left the home, and police were called, Feiner said. Police were able to locate and arrest Haynie within minutes.

Feiner said nobody was injured and no property was damaged during the burglary.

"However, the Pembroke Pines Police Department would like to remind the community about the importance of securing your property’s windows and doors," Feiner said.
