Surveillance video captures group stealing merchandise from Tobacco 4 Less in Davie

DAVIE, Fla. – Davie police are searching for four people who shoplifted last month from a tobacco shop.

The theft was reported about 3:30 p.m. Oct. 29 at Tobacco 4 Less at 8848 SR 84.

Sgt. Mark Leone said two females distracted the clerk and blocked her view while two males removed items from a shelf and a cabinet.

The thieves appeared to be teenagers.

Leone said the crooks put the items in their pockets and left with more than $500 worth of merchandise.
